Quick facts

Everything needed to say yes.

This is a complete one-shot built for first-time players, Daggerheart-curious players, and experienced players who want a welcoming table.

System

Daggerheart, taught at the table.

Characters

Premade Level 1 heroes provided.

Venue

Held at Mox Boarding House Chandler.

Bring

Yourself. Dice are optional if you have them.

What you'll play

One simple delivery job. One strange forest road. One contract with omissions.

You are part of a courier crew hired to carry protected magical cargo through the Goldspire Territories to a small forest community that needs help.

The route has polished waymarkers, cheerful compliance language, and a little too much confidence for a forest this old. You know the job matters. You know the cargo stays protected. You know payment follows delivery.

Everything else comes through play.

Beginner promise

New players are expected here.

You do not need to know Daggerheart. You do not need tabletop experience. You do not need to make a character before the game.

Kyle will teach the rules at the table, walk through the character sheets, and help you make choices in plain language. You can speak in character, summarize what your character does, or ask for help finding the words.

Premade characters provided. Just show up.

Premade characters

Choose an adventurer and start playing.

Each prepared hero has a clear role, a simple starting hook, and enough room for you to make them yours.

This is a preference preview, not homework. Final character choice happens at the table so everyone gets a good fit.

Tone and comfort

Warm, weird, cinematic fantasy with light corporate satire.

Expect strange forest danger, roleplay, clues, action, and heroic choices. You do not need to perform a voice, know every rule, or guess the correct answer.

Good play means engaging with the situation, sharing spotlight, and helping the table have a good time.

Content note: fantasy combat, magical danger, strange creatures, spooky moments, implied death, and corporate satire. The game is not intended to be grim, graphic, cruel, or player-vs-player.

Player reflections

Real table signal, not just marketing copy.

Goldspire is a new one-shot, but Kyle's table craft is not new. These notes and images come from past GameMasterKyle games.

Past tables

Players show up, make choices, and sometimes make art about it.

That is the experience being sold here: a welcoming room, real choices, guided rules support, and enough creative momentum to escape the quarterly report.

“Kyle turns player chaos into story without losing the fun.”

Corn / Logan, Brax

“Kyle makes the world feel like it keeps moving even when our characters are not looking at it. Our choices always mattered.”

Short clips

A few seconds from past live-table chaos.

These clips are cut from longer GameMasterKyle sessions: table jokes, player choices, and Peril to Profit energy in motion. Optional viewing; Management already filed the vibes.

FAQ

The fast answers.

Do I need Daggerheart experience?

No. The rules will be taught at the table.

What is a tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG)?

It is a shared story game: part game night, part interactive theater, part heroic group problem-solving. You describe what your character tries, dice help with uncertain moments, and the table discovers what happens next together.

Do I need TTRPG experience?

No. This is built for first-time players and curious beginners.

Do I need to make a character?

No. Premade characters are provided.

Can experienced players join?

Yes. The table is beginner-friendly, not beginner-only.

Is this a campaign?

No. This is a one-shot designed to finish in one session.

What if I am nervous?

That is normal. The session starts with guided onboarding, simple character choices, and room to ask questions.

Do I have to act or do a voice?

No. You can speak in first person, third person, or plain description.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, if they also claim a seat. There are 5 seats max.

What if I sign up and cannot attend?

Please cancel or message as soon as possible so the seat can go to someone else.
