Your seat is part of the story

You don’t watch this horror.
You decide what happens next.

Follow the clues through Fairwage. Decide whom to protect, what to believe, and how far to dig when the answers stop making sense.

01 / The room

A show shaped around you.

Live character performances, music, visuals on the room’s TV, physical props, and your decisions turn one afternoon into a shared horror experience.

02 / The tension

Steady hands. Unsteady odds.

A physical Dread tower brings danger onto the table. Pull a wooden block when a Dread Check is called, or push your luck after an eligible failed roll. If the tower falls, the story feels it.

03 / What you keep

Take part of the story home.

Your $40 seat includes a ready-to-play Level 5 character sheet, background and lore sheets, and a physical charm tied to an ability made for this adventure. The character materials and charm are yours to keep.

Physical reference cards for core-set options are provided. Cards for expansion or homebrew options are not guaranteed. One complete story in four and a half hours.

Level 5 · Tier 3

Choose a hero.
Or bring your own.

Daggerheart familiarity is recommended and will help you get more from this Level 5 session. New to the game? You’re still welcome. Kyle will guide you through the rules as you play.

No preparation needed

Pick a prepared character.

Just arrive, choose a hero, and jump in. Kyle will bring a variety of prepared Level 5 characters, including the familiar Goldspire heroes. New horror-themed options are in preparation; the specific additions will be confirmed here. You can tweak any supplied pregen at the table.

Meet the familiar heroes ↓
Optional, and encouraged

Bring your own hero.

Spooky concepts are encouraged. Bring your own completed Level 5 character; core, expansion, and homebrew options are welcome. Create your character before game day; we won’t build characters from scratch at the table.

What to bring with your character ↓

Familiar faces. New nightmares.

The heroes from earlier Goldspire tables will be part of the selection. Watch the character updates for the new options as they’re confirmed. The artwork below introduces familiar characters; it isn’t a Level 5 sheet download.

Marlowe Fairwind, an elven spellcaster with a staff.
Marlowe Fairwind
Barnacle, a small frog-like adventurer with daggers.
Barnacle
Garrick Reed, a human warrior.
Garrick Reed
Khari Nix, an armored guardian with an axe.

Varian Soto, a feline forest scout.
Varian Soto

No earlier Goldspire session required. Choose a provided character and you have nothing to prepare. If you’re curious about the system, the short rules notes are optional.

Bringing your own character?

Finish your Level 5 sheet before October 17. A printed copy is preferred, so Kyle can review and help easily. A working digital sheet is also welcome if you’re comfortable using and editing it on your device.

Sheets, cards, and questions

Bring the rules and ability references for your character. Kyle has physical cards for the core set’s classes, ancestries, communities, and domains. Physical cards for expansion and homebrew options may be available, but are not guaranteed.

You’re encouraged to share your sheet with Kyle ahead of time through email, Discord, or the usual contact channels. Ask character-creation questions before game day; table time is for playing and tweaking supplied pregens.

Frightening fiction. A considerate table.

Know what you’re stepping into.

Ages 18+. Expect mature psychological and body horror, violence, blood and gore, occult themes, and possible character death.

Full content and comfort notes

The adventure may include graphic bodily rupture, corpses, animal distress, memory and identity violation, voice mimicry, civilian endangerment, and possible amputation.

Content can be adjusted at the table. Tell Kyle about boundaries, access needs, or concerns before we play. You do not need to share personal details. Kyle will do his best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee every need can be met.

Kyle brings the characters to life, explains the rules, and builds on what your group chooses. Quiet players and first-timers have a place here. You can describe what your hero does in your own voice.

Before you step inside

A few things
worth knowing.

Can I play if I’ve never tried a tabletop RPG?

Yes. A tabletop role-playing game is a shared story: you say what your character tries, the GM describes what happens, and the rules help when the outcome is uncertain. This session uses Level 5 characters, so Daggerheart familiarity is recommended, but it is not required. Choose a provided character and Kyle will guide you through play. No character creation or acting is required.

Do I need to know the earlier Goldspire adventures?

No. Soulspire’s Secret is the third Goldspire adventure, but it stands on its own. Returning players may recognize connections; everyone gets a complete story in this session.

What is the Dread tower?

A shared wooden-block tower used alongside Daggerheart. Some moments call for a pull; other pulls let you push your luck. The numbered, colored blocks have consequences, and each pull makes the tower less stable. Kyle explains the custom rules during play.

What does the $40 ticket include?

A four-and-a-half-hour private-room game with live performances, music, visual media, and props; a prepared character package; table reference cards; and a physical charm with an adventure-exclusive ability. Your character materials and charm come home with you.

What should I bring?

If you’re choosing a supplied pregen, just bring yourself and enough time to stay until 3:00 PM. A notebook, pencil, or your own dice are optional. If you’re bringing your own character, bring a completed Level 5 sheet on paper or a working device you’re comfortable editing. Paper is preferred. Check Mox for booking terms.

Updated October 1, 2026

Character updates.

More horror-themed character options are on the way. Kyle is working toward choices such as witch, warlock, and blood-hunter-style characters. The exact pregen roster, sheets, and artwork are coming later; a specific class isn’t guaranteed yet.

Have something in mind? Ask Kyle ahead of time. Keep an eye on this page for the confirmed options and preparation updates. Registered players will receive an email if there’s a significant change before October 17.

All of this is extra. You can simply arrive, choose a provided hero, and play. See you at Mox.
